Ordered a variety of items, all shared by 2 people. Everything was delicious. Service was great and food came out fast. We had Miso soup, Age Dashi Tofu, Seared Tuna apps. A Pink Dragon roll and an Oshinko roll and Thai Shrimp/Veggie dish w/ key lime sauce. Lots of veggies, which we really appreciated.

Excellent BMW sushi pictured here. I order this at a lot of sushi places, and this one was right up there at the top. There was plenty of parking in their free parking lot, which was very nice on this busy street. We had lunch there on a saturday, and it was very quiet. We get served immediately. I had lemongrass soup, which was good but difficult to eat with two slices of tomato in there and long pieces of cabbage. The only negatives were that the floor was very wet when we got there almost like they had a flood. It was still wet when we left. There was no hot water in the women's restroom to wash your hands. It was ice cold. In the soup, I couldn't find any lemongrass, and the chicken was tough and tasted very old.

Stopped here for a meal before the airport and really enjoyed it! The fried rice was very plain but the sushi was fantastic. We got the shrimp tempura roll and the spicy tuna and thoroughly enjoyed both. Also liked the vegetable tempura, I thought the portions were pretty decent.

I’ve been wanting to try Sakana for years after reading all of the fabulous reviews and I finally got to after moving to the area. Sakana is good and I high recommend. The restaurant is quaint, well decorated, great seating at the bar and a lovely patio to sit in. The neighborhood is wonderful. As for the food we ordered the Spicy Edamame, Seafood Ceviche, Lobster Tango and Kingkong roll. Spicy Edamame was not spicy, it had the sweet chili sauce- it was definitely delicious. Seafood Ceviche was the best dish, it was bright, tangy and very fresh. Of the 2 roll, Lobster Tango was the best, had the most flavor. Both rolls very huge and visually appealing. I would go back and definitely recommend Sakana as a solid spot.

Excellent, fresh, high quality sushi.. Sakana is one of the best in the Twin Cities. Both this location and the Wayzata location are consistently 5 Star and have been for years. Mary was our waiter for dinner this evening and she was wonderful; professional, warm and personable.

I was really happy with the sushi boat I received. I ordered some spicy tuna, the King Kong roll, the Godzilla roll, and another roll. All were tasty, the two specialty rolls were incredible, needed no extra wasabi or soy. Ordered wontons as well, we're delicious. The staff was kind and very attentive. Food came out relatively fast. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and will be going there again. I'll be trying the other specialty roles! Plus the boat is a really nice feature that adds to the vibe and setting of the restaurant. A lot of nice garnish as well on all the plates.

I really enjoyed our meal there. The staff was friendly and courteous, our server was knowledgeable and attentive, and the food was delicious and presented beautifully. Drinks were also super tasty and unique.

Great service and excellent food! Had a great Valentine’s Day date here, we loved our drinks and the rolls we ordered. Our server was extremely nice! I highly recommend!
